Welcome to my website. I am known as Shell Adams, and I have the pleasure of living and creating in Caithness (which is located in the Far North Scottish Highlands).
This site is dedicated to my range of Hand-Tied Knotwork Jewellery. This range of jewellery was initially born from my desire to translate Celtic Knotwork designs into real knots and to create jewellery using nature’s materials as much as possible.
Each piece in the range is individually handmade by myself and features intricate hand-tied knotwork. Some pieces consist of knotwork alone, whilst others incorporate beautiful and unique wood – sourced locally and hand-shaped then taken to a wonderfully smooth, tactile finish and treated with natural oils.
